<p>The Orpington and District Archaeological Society promotes the study of archaeology
in the Upper Cray Valley by undertaking excavations, carrying out research into
the archaeology of the area and encouraging public interest through meetings and
visits.</p>
<p> We meet at the Public Library in Orpington, Kent on the first Wednesday of
every month (except August). Meetings start at 8 o'clock and are open to the
