Members meet at 8pm usually on the first Wednesday of each month (except August) at The Priory, Orpington, Kent (Orpington Library and Bromley Museum - map below). The meetings include illustrated talks on a variety of archaeological subjects by visiting speakers and sometimes by ODAS members. The meetings are open to the public: no charge is made for admission (space is limited, however, and where necessary priority is given to members).

Annual General Meeting |
If you wish to visit or take part in one of our excavations, you will first need to become a member of ODAS (except during the annual open weekend in September when the public are welcome without prior arrangement). Arrangements are made at meetings concerning digging - this is how you can find out what excavation is currently going on, and arrange to take part. Most of our excavations take place over the summer months.
There are annual public open days for ongoing excavations - details are posted on this website. There is no need to book in advance - just come along.
